MEISINGER‘s Black Cobra Line comprises selected instruments which are designed to be particularly resistant to daily heavy use in modern laboratories and surgeries. The excellent features of the COBRA diamonds and carbide cutters and burs are enhanced still further by the special CARBOCER© (diamond-like carbon) coating. A specially developed process applies a diamond-like carbon coating to the Cobra diamonds and carbide cutters and burs which provides them with extremely hard, wear-resistant, low-friction, corrosion resistant surfaces while retaining the original surface properties. This coating lends them the characteristic black colour, which is non-dazzeling. Additionally, they are resistant to acids, alkalis and organic substances and are thermally stable up to +842°F.
