The special high-performance ceramic with up to 25% less net weight than tungsten-carbide trimmers exhibits a perceptibly gentler, pleasant trimming action both for users and patients. The biocompatability of the ceramic makes the ceramic trimmers suitable for patients with a strong allergy to metal. The ceramic trimmers are suitable for approved disinfection and sterilization procedures.
