LustreCup works differently than any cup and polish currently available to the profession, the patented LustreCup incorporates the polishing agent perlite into the silicone rubber of the cup, eliminating the need for polish. The slurry that forms is thinner and finer, allowing better visibility and produces almost no splatter, while removing all but the heaviest stain and polishing beautifully. LustreCup is significantly less abrasive to enamel and dentin than pumice paste. It contains no additives such as glycerin or fluoride, making LustreCup ideal for pre-bleach polishing and prior to bonding restorations or orthodontic brackets.
