Silicate Ceramic Surface Treatment System.
A unique surface treatment system for improved bond strengths to porcelain, metal, and composite restorations.
Coject® silicate ceramic sand is utilized in conjunction with the Danville Microetcher™ II. Sandblasting Coject with the Microetcher II embeds a ceramic layer on the surface of metal, porcelain or previoulsy cured composite, producing dramatically enhanced bond strength. The ceramic layer allows silane coupling with composite, providing chemical bonding.
