There are two indications on the applicator. one on the handle, and one on the neck. The indentations allow the applicator to bond easily.
There are two "pillars" surrounding the indentations. The pillars work as a "locking notch" when the applicator is bent, even as pressure is applied.
The applicator can be bent in two separate areas, on the neck and on the handle independently or simultaneously.
The double bending capability is useful for the upper or lower anterior applications from the lingual.
